A road course laid out in the city park in the Boavista district of Porto, the 4.8 kilometres circuit took drivers over tram lines and down cobblestone streets. The circuit twice held the Portuguese Grand Prix in 1958 and 1960 and wasn’t used again until 2005. The WTCC was first held here in 2007 and has shared the event since with Estoril and the new Portomao circuits
