One of worlds most famous racing venues was constructed in royal parkland 20 kilometres north of Milan, holding it’s first race in September 1922. In it’s early years the high speed banked corners claimed many lives and was last used in 1969 for a 1000km Sportscar race before being closed on safety grounds. The home of the Italian Grand Prix and the passionate “Tifosi” Ferrari fans the worlds leading championships are contested around the daunting 5.79 kilometres including Sportscars, Moto GP and World Superbikes. The first WTCC event was held at Monza in 2005
